ELEC 1130 - National Electrical Code I
3 Credits This course covers the requirements of the current National Electrical Code which governs all Residential, Commercial, and Industrial electrical installations.
Learning Outcomes Upon competition of this course the student should have gained the knowledge on how the code book is laid out and the procedures to properly navigate the National Electrical Code Book. Using the National Electrical Code Book to analyze data and use multiple steps and how references and multiple steps may be needed to get the correct answer from a question. Identify different environments and conditions and how to apply the National Electric Code to those environments and conditions. Interpreting if exceptions to the National Electrical Codes are permissible. How to properly size conduit and conductors.
