ELLW 1165 - Pole Top and Bucket Rescue

Students will learn the most up-to-date techniques and operations of rescue equipment in the electrical line worker industry. Along with this training, the student will obtain First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
Learning Outcomes
Become CPR/ First Aid Certified with AED operation training. Demonstrate proper rigging to safely lower victim to ground. Perform bucket truck rescue using lower controls. Be able to identify potential hazards during pole top and bucket rescue. Perform pole top rescue on armless and crossarm structures. Employ proper “May-day” call to EMS.
