ENGL 1625 - Film Studies



4 Credits
This course emphasizes the review and analysis of films. This will include how movies reflect and shape the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of the society that produces them. These films will be from various genres and span the entire time frame that movies have been a popular phenomenon. Also included in this course is logical reasoning as well as the investigation of certain aspects of film that set it apart from other literary forms such as technical advances, special effects, camera anglescostuming, cinematography, and lighting.
