EXER 2020 - Personal Training and Exercise Leadership I
2 Credits Develop basic competency in designing and implementing fitness programs for healthy populations. Emphasis on safe and effective exercise techniques to improve flexibility, body composition, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular strength and endurance.
Learning Outcomes Design an exercise program based on an individual’s goals and fitness experience. Administer fitness assessments and analyze the results. Observe exercise technique and correct form using appropriate communication skills. Demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques and program design principles.
