This is an introduction to the basic tools used for image manipulation in Adobe Photoshop. Image modification and compositing, use of the scanner, and mastery of Photoshop tools are stressed. Image adjustment, enhancement and layer masks are also included.
Learning Outcomes
Apply techniques of photo repair, compositing, colorization and painting. Use Adobe Photoshop tools to create selections, modify pixels, apply transformations, filters and layer styles, and add shapes, type and brush elements. Understand canvas and image properties, color, document settings, layers, history and file formats Apply non-destructive Adobe Photoshop tools including masking, adjustment layers and smart objects to demonstrate professional composition practices Navigate Adobe Photoshop workspace
