This course covers the basic concepts in the illustration sector of visual communication. The history and genres of illustration as well as illustration styles and mediums are examined. Projects are assigned to develop illustration skills and uses ofvarious media. Using professional business practices are part of the focus. Visual concept development and communication through illustration are explored through research and application.
