GRDT 1430 - Adobe InDesign I
3 Credits Students will become familiar with Adobe InDesign as an electronic publishing/page layout program. Emphasis will be placed on software operation. Use of text, graphics, tabs, style sheets, and master pages will be incorporated into projects.
Learning Outcomes Navigate Adobe InDesign workspace. Use Adobe InDesign tools to create page layouts for publishing including images, graphic elements, tables and type. Understand document and image properties, color, document settings, layers and file formats. Apply guides and grids for alignment, and master pages and styles for consistency and repetition. Demonstrate professional electronic publishing and typographic rules and practices. Apply transformations, text wrapping and clipping paths to create dynamic image and type interactions
