This course will cover commercial HVAC systems and package heat/cool equipment. Make-up air/exhaust systems, steam/hot water boilers, both low and high pressure, air handling units, and related maintenance practices.
Major Content Areas
The proper application and usage of air handling units within the building. The application of make-up air/exhaust systems to specific buildings and product usage. Basic function and application of steam-hot water boiler systems. The breakdown of the various components associated with a package heat/cool system. Maintenance of equipment.
