HDTT 1102 - Air Brake Systems

This course covers the theory of compressed air and its application to the brake system. Air components will be identified, and their functions studied individually as well as within the entire system. Emphasis will be place on general repair and trouble-shooting. The course will cover identification of mechanical components of foundation brake system and their application, including axle and wheel components. Theory of operation, removal, repair and replacement along with diagnostic and testingprocedures are covered in this course.
