HDTT 1212 - Preventive Maintenance


4 Credits
This course covers the importance and proper procedures of preventive maintenance and inspection schedules used for various types of heavy-duty trucks and their applications. Students learn to perform inspections according to the standard of the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.).

Inspect and identify components in need of servicing and repairs

Demonstrate and understand professionalism and safety practices.

Demonstrate the ability to perform preventative maintenance in accordance with OEM specifications

Ability to find and navigate online repair procedure literature
