This course focuses on reading skills widely recognized as essential for comprehending college-level material. Topics include pre-reading, reading, and post-reading strategies as well as critical thinking to improve comprehensions, increase vocabulary, and develop thoughtful responses to reading with additional emphasis on the close relationship for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
