PTEC 1120 - Process Equipment

Introduces students to the equipment used in the process industries. Students will learn to identify, describe, and explain the function and operation of various types of process equipment, including piping, valves, vessels, pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, heat exchangers, cooling towers, furnaces, boilers, and auxiliary systems. Emphasis is placed on terminology, safety, and the role of each component in the overall process system.
