ASEP 1105 - Heating And Air Conditioning

Prerequisites ASEP 1101, ASEP 1102

This course is a study of the theory, operation, maintenance and repair of GM heating and air conditioning systems. Students will examine controls, actuators and A/C sensors as well as manual and automatic A/C systems. Reclaiming and recycling of R-134A and R-1234YF will be performed.

Learning Outcomes
Replace A/C components.

Test A/C system performance

Inspect and test A/C heater control panel assembly; determine necessary action

Disassemble HVAC systems.

Reclaim R-134A and R-1234YF refrigerant.
