Students will study the operation, diagnosis and repair of General Motors engines as used in cars and light trucks. Engines will be removed, disassembled, measured and re-assembled/reinstalled.
Learning Outcomes Remove and disassemble General Motors engines following service information procedures and processes. Safely perform all repair procedures. Explain the operation of the lubrication, cooling, induction and exhaust systems. Analyze the condition of internal engine components and recommend needed repairs. Evaluate and test engine operation.
