This course covers automotive batteries, starting and charging system theories, diagnosis and repair procedures using various types of tools and test equipment and reference materials.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate the ability to perform starting and charging system repairs Demonstrate compliance with current automotive industry safety and environmental standards. Demonstrate how to use service information sites to properly look up related vehicle repair information and be able to interpret wiring diagrams. Understand the function and operation of automotive batteries, starting systems, and charging systems. Diagnose starting and charging system concerns; determine necessary actions using a variety of tools and equipment.
