BMET 1300 - Biomedical Instrumentation I

Prerequisites BMET 1220 

This course studies the various technologies in the medical care field. Areas of study cover the use of various test equipment, performing, preventive maintenance and the use of testing equipment for maintaining proper operation.

Learning Outcomes
Understand biomedical instrumentation design and operation.

Demonstrate various test equipment used to validate biomedical instrumentation operation and safety.

Practice using operator and service manuals to understand, test and repair various biomedical instrumentation.
