Program Outcomes

How to use the National Electrical Code.

Understand switching and controls for electrical circuits.

How to bend conduit and apply proper material to the electrical application.

Understand the application of blueprint reading.

Apply basic electrical circuit design and troubleshooting.

Apply proper use of electrical tools and equipment.

Understand electrical and workplace safety.

Additional Information 

Employment in this field typically requires successful completion of the Minnesota Electrical licensing exam.

The Electrical Construction Maintenance program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Electricity.

All ELEC courses must be taken in the sequence below. Please contact your program advisor with questions.
