Program Outcomes
Diagnose and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
Read and interpret wiring schematics as applied to HVAC/R equipment repair and troubleshooting.
Exhibit proficiency in brazing and soldering copper tubing.
Attain an EPA refrigerant handling certification with a minimum Type I and II level of certification.
Develop a basic knowledge and understanding of commercial refrigeration components and systems including ice machines, self-contained coolers and freezers and walk-in coolers and freezers.
Perform basic sheet metal layout and ductwork fabrication.
