Program Outcomes

Describe the sequence of typical cognitive, social and emotional, physical, and creative development of children birth to age 8 years and how development and learning are integrated.

Explain the many ways in which young children differ in their development and approaches to learning.

Create and maintain physically and psychologically safe and healthy learning environments for young children.

Students must earn a grade of ‘C-’ or better for all required ECYD courses.
