Program Outcomes

Demonstrate a firm understanding and working knowledge of basic problem analysis, design, implementation and maintenance.

Be prepared to obtain employment in an entry-level position in software and web development.

Employ industry accepted coding practices and standards.

Implement object-orientated software solutions.

Employ various code level debugging techniques.

Additional Information

Students who start in the spring may not be able to complete this program in four semesters due to course availability and sequencing.

* PHIL 1250  is 3 credits. MATS 1251 , MATS 1240  & MATS 1300  are 4 credits. Students who complete MATS 1251 , MATS 1240 , or MATS 1300  will get 1 credit towards their General Elective total.

** Students must choose one of the following certificates to complete the Software Development A.A.S.: Desktop Programming or Web Programming.
