Program Outcomes

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of industry-recognized safety procedures.

Demonstrate recognized professionalism practices as related to attendance, attire, attitude, and written and oral communication.

Accurately repair mechanical problems related to the powertrain.

Accurately repair mechanical problems related to engine performance.

Accurately repair mechanical problems related to electrical and electronic components.

Accurately repair mechanical problems related to the automotive chassis and HVAC system.

Accreditation

The Automotive Service Technology program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation.

Additional Information

This program has an additional cost for tools.

All students applying for this program are required to obtain and maintain an internship with an approved business partner.

All AUTM courses must be taken in the sequence below.
