Program Outcomes

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of industry recognized safety procedures.

Possess the ability to locate and interpret all necessary vehicle service information required to repair a vehicle malfunction.

Demonstrate recognized professionalism practices as related to attendance, attire, attitude and written and oral communication.

Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical problems related to engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering and brake systems.

Accurately diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC engine performance, and vehicle safety systems.

Accreditation

The General Motors Automotive Service Technology program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation.

This program has additional costs for tools.

Students looking to enroll in the ASEP program are required to be sponsored by a dealership partner. Program faculty can provide resources to aid prospective students in finding a dealer sponsor.

All ASEP courses must be taken in the sequence below. 

First Year - Fall Semester: 17 Credits


Second Year - Fall Semester: 17 Credits


Second Year - Spring Semester: 17 Credits
