ELEC 2230 - Electrical / Electronic Controls and Systems Lab

Prerequisites ELEC 1240 

This course covers the analysis and troubleshooting of energy management, heating and cooling systems, fire alarm, security, and lighting control systems. It will cover and familiarize students with voice, video, data, and fiber systems.

Learning Outcomes
Identify appropriate wiring method for fire alarm, security, and energy management systems.

Troubleshoot defective electrical equipment.

Select and install a variety of building automation equipment.

Connect control equipment to meet desired control schemes.
