ELEC 2251 - Commercial Wiring Theory and Lab

Prerequisites ELEC 1240 

This course covers the use of materials and design of commercial wiring, commercial tools and equipment, service equipment, and maintenance technology.

Learning Outcomes
Install typical wiring method used in commercial buildings.

Calculate electrical loads and short circuits.

Understand emergency back-up systems.

Recall building plans and interpret electrical blueprints.

Determine and coordinate correct over current protection
