Introduction to the tools and powered equipment used in the electrical line industry. Students will familiarize themselves with the safe and proper operation of this equipment.
Learning Outcomes
Display proper use and maintenance of hand tools and powered utility equipment. Identify specific tools and equipment used in construction and maintenance of the electrical transmission and distribution system. Preview operation of Digger Derrick and Insulated Bucket Truck utility equipment. Demonstrate tool and equipment inspection to determine safe and efficient operation.
