This course is a comprehensive introduction to the workings of a modern manufacturing facility in the processing industry. This course is designed to be a culminating class of what students learned throughout the program and to focus on the automation aspect of manufacturing. This includes a focus on process control systems, mechatronics, and robotics, as well as, electronic control panels, heat exchangers, motors, and other relevant equipment used in the changing field of manufacturing.
