ISTC 2035 - Operating Systems III


3 Credits
Prerequisites ISTC 1033 

In this course, the student is expected to learn the procedures underlying server operating systems. The course will cover network design, installing Servers, configuring and optimizing Servers, managing users and groups, disk quotas, basic and dynamic disks, security, and print management.

Learning Outcomes
Manage software updates.

Install, configure, and manage DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).

Install, Configure, monitor, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot the performance of the Server.

Install, configure, and manage Active Directory.

Install, configure, and manage DNS (Domain Name System).

Configure a Virtual Server.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot local user and group accounts.
