This course covers accessory and power systems such as wipers, headlights, airbags, and seats and the diagnostic and repair procedures using various types of tools and test equipment.

Learning Outcomes Understand the function and operation of automotive batteries, starting systems, and charging systems. Test the operation of electronic chassis and safety systems and determine necessary action Test the operation of automotive electrical, electronic, computer, and accessory circuits and determine necessary action. Locate all applicable service information and interpret it in order to test and diagnosis automotive electrical circuits. Demonstrate understanding of applicable industry standards and follow them while performing repairs in the shop.
