CIVL 1257 - UAV/Drone Photogrammetry

Prerequisites CIVL 1151
An introductory course in photogrammetry using UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) aka drones. Students will learn the correct use of drones as a survey/map making aid. Students will fly a drone and acquire data for use in making plans and maps for civilprojects.

Learn how to ethically and legally use drones Fly and acquire data with the use of a UAV Learn of other uses of drones like bridge inspection Post process the data and insert it into AutoCad Civil 3D Learn FAA rules and regulations
