Program Outcomes
To prepare competent entry-level medical assistants in the cognitive (knowledge), Psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.
Successfully pass the national certification exam to achieve the CMA(AAMA) credential.
Gain experience in medical office protocol which will prepare the graduate to work as part of the health care team.
Accreditation
The Medical Assistant diploma program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
