This course covers more of the material that is in ELLW1140 Distribution IIA.

Learning Outcomes
Install overhead equipment and protective devices; transformers, OCR’s, switches, ect.

Construct single and three phase distribution lines by working with pulling and tension equipment, different stringing methods, sagging methods and dead-end procedures.

Apply armor rod protection with side and top ties, install preform ties both by hand and with hot stick applications.

Demonstrate soft side dead ending, conductor sagging, and hard side dead ending of overhead construction primary and secondary conductors.
